After Hoosier Pass, we continue on to Fairplay and turn eastbound on 285 and head over Red Hill Pass and Kenosha Pass, which frame the wide mountain valley of South Park. We encounter some traffic on 285, and begin working our way through the cars. Eventually we get through the traffic, and wick up the bikes as we get to open road. Tripple digits were allegedly noted on the speedometers.
We continue to Bailey, where we stop for fuel. While fueling up, I recognize Jeff (CA1200) and his K1200GT parked at the Conoco convenience store. We chat for a bit, and he joins our little group.
